The Emery Awards honors individuals and corporations that support HMI’s mission to create safe and supportive environments where all young people, regardless of sexual orientation or identity, can achieve their full potential.
Developed branding for the 2017 Emery Awards while maintaining HMI's identity. Using a classic serif font with a modern twist, we highlighted the year of the dinner and used their logo to maintain brand identity. We wanted to go beyond the classic black and white look from their identity last year, and instead used gold with black velvet. The Dark draped curtains were inspired by the glam of red carpet events and opera shows.
